Job Description
• General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is hiring a Cyber Risk Management Lead in Ashburn, VA, supporting the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Cyber Security Directorate and federal national-security cybersecurity operations.
• Leads enterprise cybersecurity risk strategy, risk assessments, governance processes, methodologies, policies, documentation, dashboards, registers, and compliance artifacts aligned with NIST RMF, NIST CSF, and federal compliance standards.
• Directs complex assessments, security control evaluations, risk analysis, risk statements, prioritized mitigation, cross-functional working groups, and executive-level reporting across diverse systems and environments.
• Mentors junior, mid-level, and senior analysts while influencing technical teams and strengthening analytical rigor, documentation quality, organizational resilience, and risk decision-making.
• Requires a minimum of five (5) years of cybersecurity or risk management leadership experience; a bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field is preferred; CISSP, CRISC, CISM, or CGRC certifications are preferred; previous or current CBP Background Investigation is desired.
