Cyber Security Co-op (Winter/Spring 2027) - Group 11-10

Job Description

• Support day-to-day cybersecurity operations for MIT Lincoln Laboratory’s research environment in Lexington, MA, including security operations center activities.
• Monitor and analyze network traffic and security alerts to identify malware, spear phishing, threats, vulnerabilities, and anomalous activity.
• Help develop and implement solutions to mitigate cybersecurity risks and protect enterprise systems.
• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; familiarity with networking, operating systems, or security concepts is required.
• Internship/Technical Co-Op paying $25–$32 per hour; U.S. citizenship, a pre-employment background investigation, and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret-level DoD security clearance are required.
