Cyber Security Watch Officer - Evenings

Job Description

• Monitor and oversee cyber defense, network defense, and network assurance operations supporting the Pentagon's Joint Network Operation and Support Center and Cyber Center Security Chief.
• Serve as a Defensive Cybersecurity SME during 24x7 swing-shift operations, including weekends and potential schedule modifications.
• Triage events, handle cyber incidents, conduct network analysis and threat detection, perform trend analysis, develop metrics, and disseminate vulnerability information using DoD CSSP methodology.
• Maintain awareness of directives, orders, alerts, and messages and deliver daily situational-awareness and operational-update briefings.
• Requires an active DoD Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI, DoD 8570 IAT II or higher certification such as Security+ CE, a Bachelor's degree, and 3+ years of professional experience.
