Cybersecurity Engineer / Team Lead

Job Description

• Remote Senior Cybersecurity Engineer / Team Lead role with occasional on-site meetings in Arlington, VA, securing federal information systems.
• Lead NIST RMF activities, ATO sustainment, vulnerability management, continuous monitoring, risk scoring, audit readiness, and remediation efforts.
• Ensure compliance with FISMA, HIPAA, agency-specific policies, and other federal security requirements while supporting audits, penetration tests, and incident response.
• Supervise cybersecurity engineers and specialists, coordinate multidisciplinary IT and government stakeholders, and provide technical leadership across infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments.
• Requires a Master’s Degree, minimum 10 years of relevant cybersecurity and team lead experience, ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance, and preferably CISSP, CISM, CEH, Security+, or equivalent certification.
