Data Analyst, Senior Professional Research Assistant Level 3

Job Description

• Full-time hybrid Senior Professional Research Assistant Level 3 / Data Analyst role with the University of Colorado Cancer Center's Population Health Shared Resource in Aurora, CO; requires 3 days per week on campus and in-person meetings as needed.
• Manage databases and conduct scientifically rigorous statistical analyses for multiple grant-funded cancer research projects using SEER, SEER-Medicare, All-Payers Claims Databases, MarketScan, electronic health records, cancer registry data, and other sources.
• Collaborate with Principal Investigators and stakeholders, determine project parameters, integrate multiple data sources, check data integrity, develop tables and reports, and maintain analysis documentation.
• Requires a master's degree in a specified quantitative field and either 2 years using databases and statistical software or 2 years conducting cancer research with cancer registry datasets and medical claims; SAS, R, Stata, ArcGIS, and Tableau experience are relevant.
• Salary range is $67,209–$105,729; applications are accepted until finalists are identified, with preference for applications received by October 9, 2026; background investigation and applicable vaccination/medical surveillance compliance are required.
