Data Engineer

Job Description

• Data Engineer at Robert Half; remote work flexibility; long-term contract expected to begin as a 3–4 month engagement at 40 hours per week.
• Design, build, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot reliable data pipelines and workflows across platforms.
• Use Python, Apache Spark, ETL frameworks, Hadoop, and Kafka to prepare, transform, and process large datasets through streaming or batch integrations.
• Create technical documentation, data process records, and control-related artifacts supporting transparency, audit readiness, delivery, and compliance.
• Review workflow controls and documentation, recommend improvements, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders on requirements and engineering deliverables.
