Job Description
• Build, test, interpret, and present statistical models supporting decision-making across Baseball Operations.
• Analyze baseball-related data, report conclusions, and communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with Baseball Analytics, Baseball Operations, data engineering, and Baseball Systems personnel on research requirements and model presentation.
• Evaluate new data sources and technologies and identify analytics research that improves departmental modeling.
• Requires a Master’s and/or BS degree in statistics or a related field, strong statistical technique knowledge, proficiency in R, Python or similar and SQL, and strong communication skills.
• Full-time position in Flushing, NY, with a salary range of $80,000–$100,000; work mode is not specified.
