Data Scientist – Demand Forecasting

Job Description

• Cognizant is hiring a full-time Data Scientist – Demand Forecasting for a hybrid role requiring 2–3 days per week in a client or Cognizant office in Plano, Texas.
• Develop, deploy, optimize, monitor, and operationalize advanced demand forecasting models supporting strategic business planning across North America.
• Build scalable data science solutions and efficient data pipelines using Python, PySpark, Databricks, SQL, Delta Lake, Azure Data Factory, and Microsoft Azure technologies.
• Requires 12+ years of experience, production-grade data science and machine learning experience, and expertise in forecasting, scenario modeling, hierarchy reconciliation, MLOps, and CI/CD.
• Salary is $115,000–$130,000 annually plus eligibility for a discretionary annual incentive; visa transfer or sponsorship is not available now or in the future. Applications accepted until October 04, 2026.
