Defense Program Manager

Job Description

• Lead larger technical programs within Roush’s Defense Engineering Department, managing customer communications, project planning, and technical deliverables.
• Manage program cost, schedule, performance, risk, staffing, resources, and metrics from Request for Proposal (RFP) through program closeout.
• Lead Program Reviews and Design Reviews with internal and external stakeholders while ensuring Statement of Work (SOW) requirements and customer expectations are met.
• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field; at least 4 years of program management or cross-functional team leadership experience; U.S. citizenship; and ability to obtain a minimum Secret security clearance.
• Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree in engineering or business administration, Secret or higher clearance, and Project Management Certification such as PMI/PMP.
