Dental Consultant- General Dentist

Job Description

• Perform remote dental insurance claims review for insurers using clinical expertise and Overjet's dental AI technology.
• Authorize or deny predeterminations and claims by reviewing radiographs, supporting documentation, medical necessity, eligibility, and member plan benefits.
• Evaluate appeals, request additional information, revise claim decisions, and provide further recommendations.
• Requires a D.D.S. or D.M.D., at least 5 years of clinical experience, an active unrestricted dental license, and proficiency with CDT codes and dental procedures.
• Remote part-time/full-time 1099 contractor role requiring 30+ hours per week; prior claims review experience of 2+ years is strongly preferred.
