Job Description
• Amentum seeks a Depot Level Avionics Technician for on-site depot-level maintenance shops in Jacksonville, FL, supporting CBP aircraft and NVG goggles.
• Inspects, tests, troubleshoots, repairs, modifies, calibrates, and replaces aircraft avionics, electrical, instrumentation, communications, navigation, and instrument-system components.
• Requires 5 years of avionics/electrical experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and expertise with aircraft electrical/avionics systems, technical manuals, schematics, and test equipment.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a CBP Background Investigation Suitability clearance; U.S. citizenship is required, and periodic customer-support travel may be required.
• Full-time role paying $50.26/hr in the aviation and government aircraft-maintenance industry.
