Job Description

• Detection Engineering Technical Leader within Splunk’s internal security organization at Cisco, securing the Splunk portfolio in a true hybrid role based in Denver, CO.
• Builds scalable detection systems, automation, data-processing pipelines, and actionable alert signals for 24x7 monitoring and rapid cybersecurity threat response.
• Requires a Bachelor’s degree plus 8 years, Master’s plus 6+ years, or PhD plus 3 years of relevant security experience; must be a U.S. Person for FedRAMP High or IL-5 work.
• Requires production Splunk Enterprise Security, SPL, risk-based alerting, statistical baselining, AI/ML, threat intelligence, and ATT&CK detection experience; preferred skills include cloud security, Python, Git workflows, CI/CD, and SOC/IR collaboration.
• Full-time position with a posted starting salary of $150,500.00–$190,800.00; application window expected to close 10/06/2026.
