Director of Photography Apprenticeship - Paid W2 Job

Job Description

• Paid, full-time W2 Director of Photography apprenticeship initially based in Houston, TX, with on-site/field production, odd hours, extensive driving, and heavy travel
• Support high-end video production as a camera assistant, audio operator, and lighting technician while training with the Houston staff DP for major sports, news, and entertainment clients
• Develop toward a Director of Photography role through an 8–12-month apprenticeship, with a 12-month paid term, review, and first right of hire into a multi-year contract
• Requires a valid driver’s license, passport, dependable vehicle, and either a college degree or two years of related work experience under Federal Apprenticeship guidelines
• Must submit a cohesive video reel of no more than three minutes featuring interviews and B-Roll; salary is $35,500/year plus commission
