Director, Renewables

Job Description

• Own GoodPower's live portfolio of county-level renewable energy engagements from initial assessment through hearings, votes, and ordinance outcomes.
• Lead local campaigns, support committees, coalition-building, stakeholder engagement, and advocacy to advance renewable energy projects and move counties out of moratoria.
• Manage county and state campaign plans, project-tracking systems, reporting, risks, opportunities, budgets, vendors, and staff across multiple concurrent timelines.
• Requires 4 to 8 years running state or local political campaigns at scale, including hands-on renewable energy experience; land-use, siting, or infrastructure approval experience; and a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Full-time remote role based anywhere in the United States, operated from a home office, with travel and flexibility to work irregular hours; salary is $110,000-$125,000 per year.
