Director, Risk Management-Operations

Job Description

• Direct daily Risk Management Operations for AdventHealth’s regional hospital and Medical Group environment, including the Risk Management Information System, loss control, serious safety events, and claim-management support.
• Develop regional risk-management plans, identify high-risk areas, reduce claims and litigation costs, and establish short- and long-range departmental objectives.
• Report claims, lawsuits, risk-reduction initiatives, and annual five-year claims analyses to hospital, Medical Group, executive, and Board of Directors leadership.
• Perform regional risk analysis across clinical, operational, credentialing, human capital, financial, legal and regulatory, technology, and reputation domains; serve as PSO Liaison managing PSES and protecting PSWP under PSQIA.
• Requires a Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field and 2+ years each of managerial/leadership experience and Risk Management, Quality and Patient Safety experience; equivalent education/experience pathways are specified. RN and CPHRM are preferred.
• Full-time, day-shift, on-site role in Greenwood Village, CO; pay range is $110,260.80–$205,088.00.
