Divisional Risk Specialist

Job Description

• Lead healthcare risk management and patient/staff safety initiatives across assigned Acadia facilities through physical presence and remote data/documentation monitoring.
• Monitor and analyze incident volumes, trends, risk exposures, losses, and quality-of-care issues; develop mitigation and corrective-action plans.
• Conduct and review complex healthcare-focused investigations, root-cause analyses, regulatory reporting, and interventions to prevent recurrence.
• Advise and train facility CEOs, COOs, and Risk leaders; coordinate with Quality, Compliance, Human Resources, Legal, physicians, and corporate leadership.
• Requires a bachelor’s degree in healthcare or related field or 5 years of healthcare-facility Risk leadership, at least 2 years of psychiatric healthcare operations and/or healthcare risk management experience, knowledge of Joint Commission, CMS, CARF, DEA, and state/local regulations, and travel up to 50%.
