Drop In Childcare Attendant

Job Description

• Provide safe, caring, and positive short-term childcare for children of Christel House DORS students in an on-site drop-in center.
• Monitor children’s safety and well-being, facilitate daily hands-on learning activities, manage risks, and follow safety protocols.
• Collaborate with DORS staff, provide attendance and CCDF application data, assist with registration, and maintain accurate student files.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding center events, activities, policies, and procedures; maintain a welcoming and clean center.
• Requires applicants to be at least 18, have prior childcare facility experience, obtain or hold Child/Infant CPR certification, pass a pre-employment background check, and provide at least three professional references.
