Job Description
• Create and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, terminal schedules, control panel layouts, cable routing drawings, GA drawings, installation drawings, BOMs, cable schedules, and revision records for modular HVAC, pumping, and packaged plant room solutions.
• Use SolidWorks Electrical Schematic and 3D, AutoCAD, PDM/PLM systems, and engineering document control processes to produce accurate, production-ready electrical documentation.
• Support manufacturing, panel fabrication, equipment wiring, electrical testing, prototype builds, supplier drawing integration, production improvements, and Engineering Change Orders.
• Ensure documentation complies with project specifications, Armstrong drafting standards, UL508A, CSA, NEC, NFPA 70, electrical codes, customer requirements, and industry best practices.
• Requires a Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical Design, or a related discipline, plus 3-8 years of relevant experience; HVAC, pumping, industrial automation, or packaged equipment experience is an asset.
