Energy Trading Scheduling Senior Specialist

Job Description

• Senior energy trading and scheduling role managing renewable and conventional generation, intertie, and demand-side resources in a 24 x 7 electric utility operations environment.
• Performs scheduling coordinator functions in the CAISO wholesale power market and CAISO Expanded Day Ahead Market (EDAM), including submitting bids and schedules, reviewing nominations, and managing contracted energy and transmission deliveries.
• Requires five or more years of experience in wholesale energy markets, resource outages, or plant operations; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Requires rotating 12-hour shifts, on-site work in Rosemead, CA, and possible extended work in Irvine, CA; full-time position.
• NERC/CIP impacted position requiring a Personnel Risk Assessment or Background Investigation and specified training before unescorted access; must follow NERC procedures, tariffs, regulatory rules, internal risk policies, and cybersecurity/data-protection requirements.
