Experienced Avionics Technician (2nd Shift) - Tampa, FL

Job Description

• Perform functional testing, troubleshooting, repair, component replacement, wiring repair, and aircraft modifications on avionics systems at a Textron Aviation Service Center in Tampa, FL.
• Diagnose issues using in-flight data, customer feedback, customer complaints, avionics units, and wiring-discrepancy information while following FAA procedures.
• Accompany pilots for functional flight testing of repaired or aligned systems as needed.
• Requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of aircraft avionics troubleshooting and repair experience.
• A&P Certification is helpful; must be able to obtain and maintain an airport security badge through the local airport authority. Full-time, second-shift individual-contributor role; $4,000 pre-tax sign-on bonus available.
