Job Description
• Perform 100% onsite avionics/electrical maintenance on F/A-18 Super Hornet aircraft at NAS JRB New Orleans in Belle Chasse, LA, with possible work at the Stennis Facility in Kiln, MS.
• Remove, install, modify, troubleshoot, repair, inspect, configure, and test aircraft avionics, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and components.
• Conduct daily, pre-flight, post-flight, periodic, launch, recovery, turnaround, and plane captain activities while documenting repairs, test results, modifications, and inspection results for contractual and regulatory compliance.
• Requires at least 5 years of military fighter aircraft maintenance experience, at least 1 year reading technical publications and maintenance procedures, F/A-18 (AT/AE) qualifications or related experience preferred, and ability to lift 35 pounds and work outdoors in variable conditions.
• U.S. Person status, U.S. citizenship, interim U.S. Secret Clearance before start, final U.S. Secret Clearance after start, COI assessment, and drug testing requirements apply; full-time, 1st shift, salary range $68,000–$92,000.
