Job Description
• Perform on-site routine building maintenance, cleaning, event setup and minor repairs for MSU Student Affairs and Services in East Lansing, MI.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, empty trash, recycle, clean bathrooms, wash walls and windows, and clean upholstery and carpet.
• Buff and scrub floors, make minor repairs, and occasionally operate heavy machinery.
• Set up and tear down furniture after events; work every other weekend on various Monday-Sunday shifts between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m., dependent on operational needs.
• Must be enrolled as a Michigan State University student during the academic year, hold a valid U.S.-issued driver’s license, meet University driving standards, and lift up to 20 pounds.
