Job Description
• Lead a translational pediatric disease program focused on gene therapy, hematology, stem cell therapy, and/or pediatric oncology at the Associate or Full Professor level.
• Direct an innovative laboratory research program translating hematologic and immunotherapeutic discoveries into novel pediatric therapeutics and clinical studies.
• Develop a team-based translational research program, guide investigator-initiated interventional trials, and build a comprehensive gene therapy trial pipeline.
• Provide strategic leadership for FDA interactions, pre-IND and IND-enabling studies, evolving gene therapy regulatory compliance, translational infrastructure, and manufacturing strategies.
• Requires an MD, PhD, or both; MD candidates may provide clinical care and must lead clinical trial development. Annual influenza vaccination or an approved exemption is required.
