Field Service Power Generation Technician

Job Description

• Diagnose, repair, maintain, and commission generators, ATS systems, transfer switches, and auxiliary power-generation components at customer sites.
• Use diagnostic tools, maintain detailed service records, follow Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies, and maintain personal tools.
• Requires basic field-service experience, intermediate power-generation knowledge, high-/low-voltage experience, customer-service experience, and a vocational diploma from a relevant technical institution.
• Requires a current valid license or locally valid driving permit, 3 years of driving experience, a clean 5-year motor vehicle report, DOT physical clearance, and compliance with DOT Hours of Service and Electronic Log Booking Device regulations; applicants must be at least 21.
• Full-time technician role in Coburg, OR, with on-call rotation, possible overtime and overnight/territory travel; compensation is $56,800–$85,200/year, commensurate with experience.
