Field Service Power Generation Technician

Job Description

• Field Service Power Generation Technician/Mechanic for Cummins Inc.'s Distribution Business in Omaha, NE, with an on-site role offering flexibility.
• Diagnose, repair, rebuild, maintain, and commission generators, transfer switches, ATS systems, and auxiliary power-generation components using diagnostic tools.
• Requires mechanical and electrical repair abilities, High Voltage/Low Voltage experience, basic diesel-engine experience, and intermediate power-generation experience.
• Requires 3 years of driving experience, a current valid license, a 5-year motor vehicle report free from major violations, and successful completion of a DOT physical; a CDL may be required and commercial vehicle operators must be at least 21.
• Requires a vocational diploma from a relevant technical institution and current relevant electrical certification; apprentice-trained power-generation/electrical technician and locally valid driving permit are preferred.
