Financial Analyst II

Job Description

• Financial Analyst II role in Columbus, OH, focused on healthcare and managed-care financial, medical, clinical, claims, eligibility, and pharmacy data analysis.
• Prepares utilization, revenue, cost, medical expense, forecast, budget, variance, competitive, contract, and cost-saving analyses and communicates financial impacts to management.
• Develops, produces, validates, and mines reports and databases; reconciles internal data with State-provided information to support the financial control environment.
• Requires a Bachelor of Science/Arts in accounting, finance, economics, computer science, or a related field (or equivalent experience) and 2–4 years of financial experience; managed-care or healthcare experience is preferred.
• Requires advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency; SQL/SAS and AFP FP&A or related certification are preferred; salary is $62,700–$100,400 with possible performance-based bonus.
