Financial Operations Intern at State Farm

Job Description

• Financial Operations internship with State Farm focused on finance, financial planning and analysis, procurement, insurance, and cross-functional business projects.
• Analyze financial and operational data, develop forecasting models, perform statistical and cost/benefit analyses, and present insights and recommendations to leadership.
• Improve financial processes, reporting flows, sourcing strategies, supplier evaluation, contract and spend analysis, and procurement operations.
• Create visualizations and business storytelling using Power BI, Excel, and other platforms; projects may include claims and underwriting analytics, budgeting, forecasting, market research, pricing, and performance analysis.
• Requires a minimum 3.5/4.0 GPA, pursuit of a relevant degree, enrollment through internship completion, proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, and a hybrid schedule at Bloomington, IL; Dunwoody, GA; Richardson, TX; or Tempe, AZ.
