Job Description
• Part-time, on-site Firearms Specialist position at Fleet Farm in Appleton, WI, serving as the in-store expert for firearm and ammunition sales.
• Connect with customers, assess needs, recommend and order products, educate customers on firearm functionality, and teach safe firearm use.
• Complete required local, state, and federal firearm-sale paperwork; operate the Point of Sale and DNR licensing systems; and maintain FFL compliance and firearm inventory-handling standards.
• Requires applicants handling or selling firearms to be at least 18, legally able to possess a firearm under Gun Control Act 18 USC 922(g), pass a background check, complete firearms sales and safety training, and comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred; 1-2 years of previous firearm sales or related experience preferred; flexible availability for days, nights, weekends, and holidays required.
