Flatiron Research Fellow, Center for Computational Quantum Physics

Job Description

• Full-time, on-site postdoctoral research fellowship with the Simons Foundation's Center for Computational Quantum Physics in New York, NY.
• Perform theoretical and computational research on many-particle quantum problems and related physical and chemical systems.
• Develop, implement, and maintain novel algorithms, software, code libraries, and open-source software using computational methods, modeling, machine learning, and high-performance or parallel computing.
• Publish research, prepare manuscripts and conference presentations, participate in seminars and workshops, and assist with student mentorship and staff training.
• Requires a Ph.D. in a relevant field, postdoctoral-level background, strong theoretical/computational research ability, effective communication, and independent and collaborative work skills; annual compensation is $95,000.
