Job Description
• Internship/fellowship with Allen Neighborhood Center supporting the Breadbasket Food Pantry and Allen Farmers Market in Lansing, MI.
• Train and coordinate volunteers, collect food donations, assist neighbors, and support market setup and teardown.
• Build relationships with farmers, vendors, sponsors, market patrons, and pantry participants; create print and digital promotional materials.
• Document program effectiveness through surveys and evaluations; expected commitment is 15 hours per week.
• Requires applicants to be at least 18, a US citizen or permanent resident, able to lift up to 40 pounds, and available to attend BreadBasket and Farmers Market regularly; compensation is $15.00/hr with MSU work study or a one-time $650 stipend otherwise.
