Food Service Assistant - Part Time

Job Description

• Part-time Food Service Assistant role at Javon Bea Hospital in a healthcare food-service environment; schedule is PRN and may include alternate shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime during peak periods.
• Prepare, portion, assemble, deliver, serve, and collect patient trays, snacks, and supplements while following tray-ticket orders and delivery scripting.
• Operate dish machines, cash registers, kitchen and cooking equipment; wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, work areas, and equipment.
• Replenish and rotate stock, record food and equipment temperatures, manage garbage, and follow department safety and sanitation regulations using required protective barriers.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; strong customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, flexible environment required. Pay range: $16.56 - $24.01.
