Forklift Operator

Job Description

• Operate powered industrial trucks, forklifts, cherry-picking lifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to load, unload, receive, stock, pick, pack, and dispatch goods.
• Complete equipment logs, daily forklift inspections, and basic forklift maintenance, including lubrication, fueling or charging, and fluid checks.
• Verify goods, quantities, invoices, shipping work orders, damage, and discrepancies while preparing customer deliveries and shipments.
• Maintain inventory levels, perform inventory counts, and follow warehouse safety regulations and stacking procedures.
• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 3+ months of relevant experience and/or training; valid forklift certification or ability to obtain it is required.
• On-site, full-time work in Belmont, NC; must lift up to 75 lbs. or more with assistance, work in hot, cold, dusty, or potentially hazardous-material environments, and accept variable shifts and possible overtime.
