Founding Software Engineer

Job Description

• Founding Software Engineer owning the technical roadmap for AI-powered restaurant back-office automation, working remotely for Kintow, Inc.
• Build AI-first interfaces, APIs, integrations, and autonomous B2B workflows for cost anomaly detection, reorder recommendations, purchase orders, vendor feeds, and schedule optimization.
• Architect scalable ETL pipelines ingesting invoices, POS data, and labor metrics, plus data models supporting machine-learning features.
• Establish engineering standards, code practices, CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and mentor future hires.
• Requires 5+ years at a fast-paced, venture-backed startup and full-stack proficiency with Next.js, Prisma, PostgreSQL, Python, and AWS; ML-enabled application experience is required, with OpenAI API or Prophet familiarity preferred.
