Full-Time Assistant Store Manager

Job Description

• Full-time Assistant Store Manager role with ALDI in Central Islip, NY; averages 38 hours per week and pays $28.00/hr starting wage, increasing to $29.00/hr in Year 2.
• Assists with supervising daily store operations, managing schedules, action plans, staffing, training, inventory, merchandising, customer concerns, payroll, and loss-control objectives.
• Ensures compliance with inventory, product handling, cash-control, store cleanliness, signage, equipment-safety, security, and data-confidentiality policies.
• Requires at least 3 years of progressive retail experience; prior management experience preferred, with a high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18, able to lift and shelve products weighing up to 45 pounds, operate a cash register and store equipment, and meet applicable state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.
