Full-Time Assistant Store Manager

Job Description

• Full-time, on-site Assistant Store Manager role with ALDI in Virginia Beach, VA, averaging 38 hours per week.
• Supervises daily store and team operations, manages schedules, assigns responsibilities, evaluates performance, and supports hiring and training.
• Maintains inventory, product handling, cash control, merchandising, product freshness, signage, cleanliness, equipment safety, and customer-service standards.
• Requires applicants to be at least 18, with a minimum of 3 years of progressive retail experience; prior management experience and a high school diploma or equivalent are preferred.
• Starting pay is $26.00/hr, increasing to $27.00/hr in Year 2; state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages must be met.
