Geotechnical Project Engineer

Job Description

• Lead geotechnical engineering design and analysis for infrastructure and development projects, including foundations, slopes, retaining walls, seismic hazards, and pavement design.
• Coordinate field exploration programs with technical staff, project managers, and subcontractors, including hazard assessments, monitoring, traffic control, and special permit conditions.
• Prepare technical reports, design plans, specifications, cost estimates, proposals, and project schedules.
• Provide construction observation and engineering support while working outdoors across varied terrains and construction stages, with periodic overnight travel.
• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Geologic Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field; 4–6+ years of geotechnical engineering experience; and a Colorado PE license or ability to obtain one upon hire.
