Global Trade Compliance Intern

Job Description

• Remote Global Trade Compliance Intern role with Aptar Group; candidates may work from anywhere in the U.S. but must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Supports post-entry audits of U.S. import transactions to ensure compliance with customs regulations and internal procedures.
• Reviews customs declarations, commercial invoices, shipping records, and other import documentation; validates customs value, country of origin/export, HS/HTS classifications, quantities, units of measure, and product descriptions.
• Requires a college degree in progress or completed; International Business or a related field is preferred, with general interest in international trade, customs compliance, or import/export operations.
• Requires Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency, analytical ability, strong attention to detail, accurate review of large data/document volumes, and basic knowledge of Generative AI tools; compensation is $22/hour.
