Graduate Engineer, Electrical - Power Generation (EDGE)

Job Description

• Entry-level electrical engineering role in Black & Veatch’s multi-year EDGE rotational program, with rotations through 3–4 business areas, including one field assignment.
• Prepare drawings, reports, specifications, limited-scope studies, basic engineering calculations, equipment/material recommendations, and engineering data.
• Apply engineering design guides, standards, systems, applicable engineering codes, and Black & Veatch policies and procedures while meeting budget, schedule, and quality requirements.
• Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, cumulative GPA of at least 3.0, legal work authorization without current or future visa sponsorship, and successful completion of applicable background, drug, and motor vehicle checks.
• Based in Cary, NC; intermittent project-site travel and short- or long-term relocation may be required. Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days at management discretion.
