Job Description
• Own the technical direction for identifying, evaluating, developing, and deploying Grid-Enhancing Technologies (GETs) within Georgia Power's electric utility operations.
• Lead technical evaluations, engineering studies, project assessments, deployment coordination, and reporting for emerging grid solutions.
• Integrate GETs into transmission expansion planning while meeting regulatory commitments, Integrated Resource Plan (IRP), documentation, alternative analysis, and compliance requirements.
• Requires a Bachelor's degree, preferably in engineering or a related field, plus 2+ years of regulatory or federal process experience and power system analysis experience.
• Hybrid Atlanta role at GPC HQ, currently four days in-office and one day telecommute; up to 25% travel; L4–L6 grade depending on experience and qualifications.
