GROUP THERAPIST/SOCIAL WORKER (MA/MSW)

Job Description

• Full-time, on-site Group Therapist/Social Worker role at Friends Hospital in Philadelphia, PA; Tues - Sat, 9a - 5:30pm, 40 hours/week.
• Provides psychotherapeutic, group treatment, psychosocial assessment, family/collateral support, treatment planning, discharge planning, and aftercare coordination for psychiatric patients and their families.
• Facilitates therapeutic process groups and interventions supporting treatment goals, coping skills, emotional regulation, recovery, and transition from inpatient care.
• Requires a Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical/Counseling Psychology, or a related Social Services field; license is not required but preferred, and the candidate must be able to provide LCSW supervision.
• Requires 2 years of clinical experience; prior experience with a psychiatric mental health population is preferred. Must follow documentation, regulatory, quality improvement, evidence-based, trauma-informed, and recovery-oriented care requirements.
