Job Description
• Lead, plan, and implement a classroom program supporting children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development in a safe environment.
• Use St. David's educational philosophy and the High Scope Curriculum Framework to create an inclusive educational environment.
• Promote discovery and active learning through developmentally appropriate activities tailored to individual children's strengths and needs.
• Establish trusting relationships with children and families and actively participate in play as a partner.
• Requires a baccalaureate degree in any field, 1,040 hours as an assistant teacher, aide, or student intern, and 18 quarter credit education hours; experience with children from birth to age 8 and early childhood teaching experience are required.
• Full-time, Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week in Minnetonka, MN; salary is $44,600-$52,400/year depending on qualifications, licensure, and experience.
