Job Description
• On-site Healthcare Pipefitter position with University of Missouri Health Care in Columbia, MO, working Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm, with on-call, holiday, weekend, and off-shift coverage as needed.
• Install, repair, and maintain healthcare facility distribution systems for water, air, vacuum, gas, hot water, distilled water, acid, chemicals, steam, condensate, storm waste, and sanitary waste.
• Perform pipe cutting, threading, joining, soldering, lead wiping, acetylene and electric cutting/welding, insulation, painting, drilling, and water-softening equipment maintenance.
• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, five years of trade experience and training including apprenticeship or vocational training, blueprint/plumbing diagram interpretation, and applicable trade-tool skills.
• Requires safe operation of tools and equipment, ability to lift 50–80 lbs, climb ladders/stairs/scaffolding, and possibly a valid driver’s license; compensation is $23.07–$31.50/hour based on experience.
