Hedge Fund Analyst - Full Time

Job Description

• Senior Hedge Fund Analyst role at Aleena Capital Management in Stamford, CT, working closely with the founder and Chief Investment Officer of a long/short absolute-return hedge fund.
• Requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, buy-side/sell-side equity research, or management consulting, plus demonstrated passion for investment research and portfolio management.
• Conduct fundamental securities research, financial modeling, valuation, industry and KPI analysis, expert/company outreach, investment memo writing, portfolio monitoring, and detailed risk analysis.
• Present long/short investment ideas to the CIO and Investment Team; maintain models, screens, watchlists, and quarterly earnings updates; participate in weekly research meetings.
• Must use AI and AI agents effectively in research workflows, demonstrate continuous improvement, and may be required to complete a case study; full-time role includes equity points in the general partnership incentive pool.
