High School Math Teacher

Job Description

• Teach high school mathematics, potentially including Algebra, Geometry, and Calculus, while preparing students for AP and collegiate-level coursework.
• Build self-guided learners by supporting problem-solving, critical thinking, mathematical reasoning, and student confidence.
• Differentiate instruction and analyze student work samples and assessments weekly with the principal and/or instructional coach.
• Partner with students, families, grade-level teams, and school leadership to advance academic goals and positive school culture.
• Requires a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, NY state certification eligibility, enrollment in a teacher preparation program with a minimum 2.5 GPA when applicable, and eventual New York state certification; 1–2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
