Job Description
• Senior Highway Civil Engineer serving as a technical expert for Ohio's Federal-aid Highway Programs in Columbus, OH
• Leads program and project delivery across planning, environmental clearance, design, construction, maintenance, financing, and contract administration
• Applies Risk-Based Stewardship and Oversight (RBSO), cost and schedule controls, safety standards, modernized controls, and project management practices
• Advises ODOT and Federal, State, and local agency stakeholders while resolving multidisciplinary project challenges through consensus building
• Requires mid-career experience monitoring statewide Federally funded highway programs or managing highway projects from initial scoping through construction support and maintenance
• Full-time GS-0810-13 federal position paying $111,065–$144,386 annually; open to eligible U.S. citizens, nationals, allegiance holders, and CTAP, ICTAP, or RPL Federal employees
