Job Description

• Conduct field-based residential energy audits for single-family and manufactured homes in the Tempe, AZ area, with travel comprising up to approximately 75% of the role and occasional office presence.
• Collect and enter detailed information on appliances, HVAC systems, building envelopes, windows, energy consumption, and comfort issues using program software and tablet audit tools.
• Install LED lamps, smart power strips, and other instant energy-saving measures, then prepare reports and recommendations for additional efficiency upgrades.
• Educate homeowners and tenants, promote adoption of energy-saving measures, support Quality Assurance activities, and participate in community and trade-show events.
• Requires a valid driver’s license, successful MVR check, ability to perform physical field work and lift up to 30 pounds; preferred qualifications include RESNET HERS Rater/HESP or equivalent, BPI Building Analyst certification, energy-audit experience, and willingness to obtain required certification within six months.
