Housekeeping Operations Supervisor

Job Description

• Supervise housekeeping operations by inspecting guest rooms, public areas, and pool areas after cleaning to ensure quality standards.
• Manage room-status reporting, discrepant rooms, cleaning priorities, departing-room updates, assignments, paperwork, and shift communications.
• Coordinate Housekeeping activities with Engineering, Front Office, Laundry, and the Front Desk.
• Support hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, counseling, discipline, motivation, and coaching of employees.
• Requires a high school diploma or G.E.D., at least 1 year of related work experience, at least 1 year of supervisory experience, no license or certification, and the ability to handle physical demands including lifting up to 55 pounds independently and heavier items with assistance.
