HVAC Gas Piper

Job Description

• Full-time, field-based HVAC Gas Piper position with Legends Mechanical LLC in the United States; work occurs on-site across new construction and existing residential and light-commercial properties.
• Install, test, maintain, repair, pressure-test, purge, and support startup of natural-gas and propane piping systems for furnaces, boilers, water heaters, rooftop units, fireplaces, generators, and other approved gas-fired equipment.
• Read plans and specifications; lay out, measure, cut, thread, ream, assemble, support, label, and size piping and install valves, regulators, sediment traps, supports, sleeves, bonding components, and equipment connections.
• Follow manufacturer requirements, fuel-gas codes, permits, company safety standards, PPE requirements, inspections, and authorization procedures; stop work for unsafe or noncompliant conditions.
• High school diploma or equivalent and relevant gas-piping, plumbing, pipefitting, HVAC, or construction experience are preferred; required trade license, registration, certification, or apprentice status applies when required by the project location, and a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record are required when driving is assigned.
• Salary is undisclosed; schedule may include travel between jobsites, overtime, and schedule changes based on project needs.
