Job Description
• Perform installation, maintenance, repair, and inspection of electrical and instrumentation systems at DuPont’s Buffalo, NY manufacturing site.
• Repair, adjust, install, troubleshoot, and maintain equipment including programmable controllers, transmitters, motor control centers, motors, control panels, relays, conduit, switches, and HVAC-related electrical equipment.
• Diagnose electro-mechanical and pneumatic systems; repair AC/DC motors, relays, solenoids, and terminal strips using industrial tools and measuring instruments.
• Requires a high school diploma/G.E.D. or equivalent, 2+ years of relevant electrician or maintenance/control mechanic experience in manufacturing, and ability to interpret the National Electric Code and maintain 12V-480V systems.
• Full-time, on-site bargaining-unit role paying $39.11 on day shift and increasing to $43.02 once assigned to shifts; requires 24/7 rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, overtime, lifting up to 50 lbs., and work in confined or hard-to-reach areas.
