Job Description
• Full-time Industrial Engineer/Analyst development role supporting steel manufacturing process improvement through business applications, data systems, analytics, and reporting.
• Develops and sustains Lean manufacturing and Continuous Improvement strategies, facilitates kaizens and focused C.I. events, and establishes standards that improve productivity, quality, cost, inventory, cycle time, reliability, on-time delivery, and safety.
• Troubleshoots databases and software; uses SPC, existing data systems, Automation Engineers L2 development data collection, metrics, dashboards, and emerging technologies to support manufacturing decisions.
• Provides plant-wide training, coaching, end-user support, Train-the-Trainer knowledge transfer, and technical/project leadership across Operations, Technology, Quality, Accounting, and Production Control.
• Requires an Engineering bachelor degree, 2 years of related experience, and 2 years of manufacturing experience; includes safety/PPE compliance and occasional off-hour/fill-in support.
